Yorkshire Post
"Yorkshire's National Newspaper" (its masthead says), The Post is a major daily broadsheet for much of the north of England. Founded in 1754 as the weekly Leeds Intelligencer, it is one of the UK's oldest newspapers. In 1866, it was bought by Yorkshire Conservative Newspapers, changed its name and became a daily with a national and international news brief. Now owned by Johnston Press, it remains Conservative Party supporting.
